I've been looking for a gravel bike that can handle both smooth pavement and rough terrain, and the Checkmate SLR 9 AXS nails it. The shifting is smooth, the brakes are responsive, and the overall build quality is top-notch. I've already put in a few hundred miles on it and I'm loving every minute. Highly recommend this bike to anyone serious about gravel riding. The medium/large size was a perfect fit for me too!
